ADORABILIS (2017)

Adorabilis creates a ceremonial space filled with bodies in a state of emergency, which acts as a fictional machine housing three presences exposed and victimized by invisible tensions. In a state of alertness, the interactions of these presences are constantly inspected by a virtual, energetic eye, and it is unclear whether its nature is authoritarian or passive, whether it controls or cares. This fourth digital performer may also have the power to suggest to the audience which performers or scenic areas are most relevant at the moment.
Jonas&Lander use the richness of cultural and natural biodiversity to create a dance-labyrinth. Light, sound and scenery are autonomous elements that affect the behavior and reaction of the performers, just as rain, night or spring are determining elements in the lives of animals
