LENTO E LARGO (2019)
Lento e Largo creates a scenic environment based and influenced by the work of Hieronymous Bosch, where Jonas&Lander introduce robotic and human performers to create a visual apocalypse. In an unreal landscape, both entities will socialize, dance, kiss, command and obey, as equals. Each performer is capable of performing actions impossible for other performers, so that the boundaries and specificities of each organism are explored. These robots will give muscle to an absurd universe by dressing and exposing organic materials such as skins, scales or horns inspired by Enrique Gomez de Molina's outcast taxidermy.
Lento e Largo (“slow and wide”) is a specific quality of classical music used to describe a certain time and atmosphere flooded with sadness. The breadth of this atmosphere influences the actions and choreography that can overflow from the stage to the confines of the Theater.
